MODS® Unit Donated to Oklahoma Tornado Victim

MODS® International is donating a MODS® unit to the El Reno, Oklahoma area early next week to a family that was displaced by the recent tornadoes.  It is scheduled to leave our manufacturing facility on Tuesday, June 18.  Once the unit arrives, it will be set up with water, sewer, and air conditioning, and will remain in place while the family rebuilds their home.  We were able to work with Chief Kent Lagaly, the fire chief in El Reno, as well as the local chapters of the Salvation Army and Red Cross in order to find a family that would best benefit from the donation of this temporary shelter.

Doug Larson, founder and president of MODS® International, stated, “We’re excited to be a part of the humanitarian relief effort in Oklahoma.  This is one of the many uses I envisioned when I created MODS®.  I’ll be there in person to deliver it, and our unit will provide a safe haven for this family while they rebuild.”

We hope that this family will be able to rebuild quickly and will feel “at home” as much as possible living in the MODS® until they are able to go back home.
